The birth of Bailly is marked by the
foundation of a prieuré in 1203. In 1228, the siege of the parish was
transferred from Romainvilliers to Bailly.
The castle, of which some vestige still
remains , dates back to the XIIIe century.
The church dates back to the XVIIe century.
Today Bailly-Romainvilliers is situated on the
edge of a golf and a few minutes from Disneyland Paris. This small brie town in now one
of the 5 towns that constitutes the Val d’Europe area surrounding
Disneyland Paris. It is a pleasant country town with all amenities close at

Bailly is a very
pleasant town to live in and to visit, it is very green and flowery, it is very
enjoyable to take long walk through the town or cycle and visit the old town
with its castle, or take the kids to the park where they can enjoy the
playground area.

Bussy-Saint-Georges Golf
Course
In the heart of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, this
flat golf course of 18 holes par 72 is interspersed with wooded hillocks and
stretches of water. It is open every day and boasts a friendly club house, a
restaurant, a bar, a terrace, a lounge, a pro shop, a changing room and a day

The golf course of this episcopal town offers
18 and 9 holes (with training). Open to everyone every day this golf

has the most beautiful beach in the region around Paris

Le Damami
This beautiful old barge
links Lagny and Esbly passing two locks and the famous Chalifert tunnel. For individuals,
every Sunday from May to October: embarkation at Pont Maunoury at Lagny at
11 am, arrival at Esbly at 12.30 PM. Leaves Esbly for Lagny at
4 PM, arrives Lagny at 6 PM. Group programmes during the week and on
Saturdays all year round.
