The birth of Bailly is marked by the foundation of a  prieuré in 1203.  In 1228, the siege of the parish was transferred from Romainvilliers to Bailly. 

The castle, of which some vestige still remains , dates back to the XIIIe century.  The church dates back to the XVIIe century. 

Today Bailly-Romainvilliers is situated on the edge of a golf and a few minutes from Disneyland Paris.  This small brie town  in now one  of the 5 towns that constitutes the Val d’Europe area surrounding Disneyland Paris.  It is a pleasant country town with all amenities close at hand (300m from the apartment):

Bailly is a very pleasant town to live in and to visit, it is very green and flowery, it is very enjoyable to take long walk through the town or cycle and visit the old town with its castle, or take the kids to the park where they can enjoy the playground area.

From Paris :

Motorway A4 heading toward METZ-NANCY : 30 min

Take the exit 14 Bailly Romainvilliers, follow the sign post ‘Bailly Romainvilliers’, at the traffic light turn left, at the round about turn right: Welcome to Bailly Romainvilliers.

 

Train RER A : 40 min

Take the train RER line A direction ‘Marne La Vallée-Chessy’

Stop at The station Montevrain-Val d’Europe’ or ‘Marne La Vallée-Chessy’,

From there you can either take a taxi (around 10€ luggage not included) or the bus line 34 (around 1.4€/pers), stop at Bailly town centre.

 

From CDG Airport: 25 min

 

Motorway A1 heading towards Paris, Then take the Junction to the motorway A104 heading towards METZ-NANCY- MARNE LA VALLEE-VAL D’EUROPE, take the junction to the motorway A4 heading toward MARNE LA VALLEE-VAL D’EUROPE, Take the exit 14 Bailly Romainvilliers, follow the sign post ‘Bailly Romainvilliers’, at the traffic light turn left, at the round about turn right :Welcome to Bailly Romainvilliers.

 

Taxi: between 70 & 100 €. (depending on number of people, time of day and number of luggage)

 

Disneyland Paris Shuttle Bus: 11-14€/ person

The Shuttle will head directly to Disneyland Paris bus/train station where you can take the bus (line 34) or a taxi to Bailly Romainvilliers

From Orly Airport: 30 min

 

Head towards Motorway A86 heading towards CRETEIL-VITRY-ALFORTVILLE, follow the junction to the motorway A4 heading toward METZ-NANCY-MARNE LA VALLEE, Take the exit 14 Bailly Romainvilliers, follow the sign post ‘Bailly Romainvilliers’, at the traffic light turn left, at the round about turn right :Welcome to Bailly Romainvilliers.

 

From Disneyland Paris:

Take the bus (line 34) around 1€/pers, stop at Bailly Romainvilliers town center or a taxi to Bailly Romainvilliers(8 - 10 €)

 

From Beauvais Airport:

 

Taxi (on the meter) : 120 to 140 euros (60 – 90 minutes)

Airport shuttle company (fixed rates): from 170 euros

You can also take the bus from Beauvais airport to Porte Maillot in Paris (13€/pers) :

At Paris-Beauvais airport, every service leaves 20 min after each flight arrival

 - From PARIS (Porte Maillot) To PARIS/BEAUVAIS
The departure from Paris is located at the car park for coaches on Bd Pershing, near the Concorde Hotel.
Every service leaves Paris 3h before each flight departure.


From there you can use public transport to Disneyland (12€/pers)

The whole journey will take around 3 hours.

This is one of the most attractive golf courses in the area around Paris with 27 holes which can be adjusted in sections of 9 (par 36) and combined to offer three different courses of 18 holes each. Open every day all year round except 1st January and 25th December.

Bussy-Saint-Georges Golf Course
In the heart of the new town of Marne-la-Vallée, this flat golf course of 18 holes par 72 is interspersed with wooded hillocks and stretches of water. It is open every day and boasts a friendly club house, a restaurant, a bar, a terrace, a lounge, a pro shop, a changing room and a day nursery for which you need to make a reservation. There is also a hotel nearby.

JABLINES

Jablines-Anet has the most beautiful beach in the region around Paris
Description: a large 75 hectares stretch of water surrounded by fine sand along the loops of the Marne river.

Le Damami
This beautiful old barge links Lagny and Esbly passing two locks and the famous Chalifert tunnel. For individuals, every Sunday from May to October: embarkation at Pont Maunoury at Lagny at 11 am, arrival at Esbly at 12.30 PM. Leaves Esbly for Lagny at 4 PM, arrives Lagny at 6 PM. Group programmes during the week and on Saturdays all year round.
